Compensation and Benefits
  • $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (for external hires only)
  • Recipient must stay with AHN for a minimum of 1 year
  • Re-Hires may not have worked for AHN within the previous 12 months
Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee clerical and clinical functions.
  • Perform clinical support duties such as preparing exam rooms, patient rooming, assisting healthcare providers during exams, procedures, and testing, including administering injections.
  • Schedule patients for procedures, tests, and visits; provide instructions and serve as liaison between physicians and patients; maintain physician calendars.
  • Screen and direct calls, respond to inquiries, support front office activities including registration, insurance verification, precertification, and billing.
  • Order and track inventory of operational and clinical items.
  • Support travel to satellite offices as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum
  • Accepted Medical Assistant Certification (NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA)
  • 2 years of clerical, insurance, and registration support in a medical setting or equivalent education
  • CPR certification (American Heart Association)
  • Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 background clearances
Preferred
  • Associate's Degree
  • Medical Assistant program graduate
  • Driver's license
