Job summary

SV Tech Systems seeks a SQL Interface Developer for a 6-12 month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on integrating data with HIT vendor systems (Epic, Cerner) across hospital and ambulatory environments, working closely with Software Engineering and Operations to refine connectors.

Required: Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years experience (10 preferred) in HIT data extraction, SQL, and Java; Epic Clarity or similar HIT certifications or experience with HIT data extracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7 years of experience required; 10 years preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HIT systems and Reporting Workbench required.
• Experience with SQL and other database query technologies required.
• Experience in Java or similar OO language required.
• HIT system certifications (e.g. Epic Clarity) or experience writing extracts against HIT source databases required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on subject matter expertise for data extraction, standardization and integration with HIT vendor systems.
• Refine connector processes in collaboration with Software Engineering.
• Work with Operations to refine implementation approach.
