Job description

**Position Description & Responsibilities:**

This individual will have the opportunity to be part of a large brand in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist. The primary focus will be ensuring seamless integration of the brand into EHR systems at priority accounts. The candidate should be a self-starter, thrive in ambiguity, and be both a strategic partner and outcomes-driven. Responsibilities include developing and implementing customer-specific plans and collaborating with the broader Matrix team of Marketing, Access, and Sales. The position reports to the National Director.

**Primary responsibilities include:**

  1. Identify potential gaps and barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs & Health Systems.
  2. Problem solve and provide solutions, aligning resources to develop comprehensive plans for priority accounts.
  3. Act as a matrix team Health IT subject matter expert, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including end users, licensed clinicians, IT, informatics teams, EHR Managers, and analysts to ensure patient safety gaps related to products are identified and addressed.
  4. Conduct needs assessments with institutional customers to identify patient safety gaps in the EHR and assist in addressing these gaps.

**Qualifications:**

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience working with healthcare software companies (Epic, Cerner, MediTech) or within a health system informatics group at a leadership level, or similar roles within pharmaceutical companies.
  3. Certifications such as CAHIMS, CHTS, CHISP, CPHIMS, and/or Epic are highly recommended.
  4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, including updates and data mining techniques.
  5. Ability to act with accountability and urgency.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
  8. Ability to incorporate market and competitive landscape knowledge into plans.
  9. Demonstrated initiative, independence, and efficiency.
  10. Proven project management experience.
  11. Previous B2B experience preferred.
  12. Valid driver’s license required.

The potential base pay range is $70,000 annually, with actual offers varying based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may be included.
