Position Description & Responsibilities

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a major brand in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist. The main focus will be to ensure seamless integration of the brand into EHR systems at priority accounts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives in ambiguity, and can be both a strategic partner and results-driven. Responsibilities include developing and executing customer-specific plans and collaborating with the broader Matrix team of Marketing, Access, and Sales. The position reports to the National Director.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify potential gaps or barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs & Health Systems.
• Problem-solve and provide solutions, aligning resources to develop comprehensive plans for priority accounts.
• Act as the matrix team Health IT subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with customers, including end users, licensed clinicians, IT, informatics team, EHR Manager, and analysts, to identify patient safety gaps related to products.
• Conduct needs assessments with institutional customers to address patient safety gaps in EHR systems and assist in addressing these gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience working with healthcare software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) or within a health system informatics group at a leadership level, or similar roles within pharmaceutical companies.
• Certifications such as CAHIMS, CHTS, CHISP, CPHIMS, or Epic are highly recommended.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, data mining, and updates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
• Proven project management skills and initiative to work independently.
• Previous B2B experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
