Position Description & Responsibilities

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a prominent US brand as a Health Information Technology Specialist. The primary focus is to ensure seamless integration of the brand into EHR systems at priority accounts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives in ambiguity, and can act as both a strategic partner and an outcomes-driven professional. Responsibilities include developing and implementing customer-specific plans and collaborating with the broader Matrix team of Marketing, Access, and Sales. The position reports to the National Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential gaps or barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs & Health Systems.
  • Problem-solve and provide solutions, aligning resources to develop comprehensive plans for priority accounts.
  • Act as the matrix team Health IT subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively with end users, licensed clinicians, IT, informatics teams, EHR Managers, and analysts to address patient safety gaps related to the product.
  • Conduct needs assessments with institutional customers to address patient safety gaps in EHR systems and assist in addressing these gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with healthcare software companies (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) or within a health system informatics group at leadership level, or similar roles in pharmaceutical companies.
  • Certifications such as CAHIMS, CHTS, CHISP, CPHIMS, and/or Epic are highly recommended.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, data mining techniques, and updates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently within a matrix organization.
  • Proven project management experience and B2B experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

The salary range for this role is approximately $70,000 annually, with potential variations based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentives, bonuses, and benefits may also be offered.
