Job description

**Position Description & Responsibilities:**

This individual will have the unique opportunity to be part of a large brand in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the brand is seamlessly incorporated into EHR systems at priority accounts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives in ambiguity, and can be both a strategic partner and outcomes-driven. This role also involves developing and implementing comprehensive, customer-specific plans and collaborating with the broader Matrix team of Marketing, Access, and Sales. The position reports to the National Director.

**Primary responsibilities include:**

  1. Identify potential gaps or barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs & Health Systems.
  2. Problem-solve and provide solutions, aligning resources to develop comprehensive plans for priority accounts.
  3. Act as a matrix team Health IT subject matter expert, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including end users, licensed clinicians, IT, informatics teams, EHR Managers, and analysts to ensure patient safety gaps are identified and addressed.
  4. Complete needs assessments with institutional customers to address patient safety gaps in the EHR and assist them in optimizing their EHR systems.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Extensive technical knowledge with a minimum of 4 years of experience working with healthcare software companies (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) or within a health system informatics group at a leadership level, or similar roles within pharmaceutical companies.
  • Certifications such as CAHIMS, CHTS, CHISP, CPHIMS, and/or Epic are highly recommended.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, including updates and data mining techniques.
  • Ability to act with accountability and urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to incorporate market and competitive landscape knowledge into actionable plans.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and efficiently are essential.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Previous B2B experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

The potential base pay range for this role is $70,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, location, schedule, and other factors. Incentives, bonuses, and benefits may also be included.
