The University of Denver invites applications for the Director of Health Informatics and Technology within the Health and Counseling Center (HCC). This leadership role blends strategic IT vision with hands-on management of EHR, security, and analytics to support clinical, administrative, and compliance functions for student health services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Point and Click or similar EHRs, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare IT operations, and will partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, health informatics, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years IT system management experience, with 2+ years in healthcare/clinical environments.
• Experience with EHR systems (prefer Point and Click) and HIPAA/privacy/security standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHR system (Point and Click), server infrastructure, and security protocols.
• Develop HIPAA-compliant IT policies and support data analytics reporting.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align technology strategies with health center needs.
• Lead change initiatives to improve clinical workflows and vendor collaborations.
• Manage cross-department IT projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
