Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Information or Medical Record Technology preferred.
• Experience in health care or long-term care preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records for missing documentation and signatures.
• Abstract records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Enter deficiencies for providers in the EMR.
• Maintain EMR and document imaging systems competently.
• Process release of information requests in a timely manner.
• Support HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
