Windmoor Healthcare in Florida is seeking a Health Information Specialist to support the HIM Department's daily operations, including chart assembly, record processing, and filing while ensuring confidentiality of patient information. The role requires knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding for inpatient and outpatient encounters and alignment with coding guidelines.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or higher in healthcare and 3–5 years of medical records experience, with proficiency in MS

Formación

• Associate degree or higher in Healthcare field preferred.
• 3–5 years medical record experience.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Must be self-directed and self-motivated.
• RHIT and CCA preferred.
