Job summary

Datavant is seeking an ROI Associate to process medical record requests in a timely, accurate manner while safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring HIPAA compliance. This onsite role at Datavant's Hanford, CA location offers full-time hours (Mo-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm) and benefits.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of Health Information experience and strong data entry skills. You will handle requests, maintain confidential information, work with facility software, and assist with training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-year Health Information related experience.
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of Company and facility software.
• Adhere to policy and HIPAA regulations.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties and fluctuating volumes.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with patient walk-ins.
• Assist with training associates in the HIS I position.
• Generate reports for manager or facility as directed.
• Participate in project teams to advance operations.
