Position Summary:
Assists physicians by retrieving their records for completion. Provide billing/reimbursement information to physician office staff, provide copies of patient records, as well as referral to coding staff regarding coding assistance and consultation, sequencing of diagnoses, etc. Maintains the confidentiality and security of patient data stored in the medical record and electronic data systems. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous Medical Terminology experience
