Position Overview

This entry-level position involves processing all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, ensuring timely, accurate delivery and maintaining the highest quality customer service. The associate must safeguard patient privacy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and authorization protocols.

Position Highlights

• Location: Onsite in Spokane, WA
• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and clerical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Comfortable in high-volume environments
• Medical office experience preferred; willingness to learn and grow within Datavant

Responsibilities

• Process patient health information requests per policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all information
• Use company and facility software effectively
• Adhere to conduct codes and policies
• Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Create digital images of paperwork for electronic records
• Respond to internal and external record requests appropriately
• Handle calls, assist with walk-ins, and perform administrative tasks
• Meet productivity expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime during peak seasons
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to prioritize and respond quickly in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience
• Production or metrics-based work experience

Additional Information

Pay ranges from $16.61 to $20.29 per hour, depending on location and experience. Post-offer health screenings and vaccinations may be required. This role does not support employment sponsorship.
