Position Highlights

• Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Receive and process patient health information requests per company and facility policies
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information
• Stay updated on company and facility software
• Follow the company's and client facilities' Code of Conduct and policies
• Report work, site issues, and volume fluctuations to management
• Assist with additional duties as needed
• Apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures
• Manage and safeguard patient health records, ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Prepare new patient charts, gather documents from paper and electronic sources
• Ensure records are complete and accurate
• Create digital images of paperwork for electronic storage
• Respond to internal and external requests for patient records, retrieving and transmitting records appropriately
• Handle inbound and outbound calls
• Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, mailing, and data entry
• Meet productivity expectations as outlined at the specific site
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to commute between locations as required
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
• Basic computer skills
• Comfort with phones, fax, printers, and office equipment
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medical records
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay ranges vary by location, responsibilities, skills, and experience. Estimated hourly pay: $15—$18.32 USD.
