Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Illinois seeks a Medical Records/Health Information Management Specialist for on-site, part-time work at our facility in Springfield. You will analyze records, follow-up on missing documentation, and maintain chart deficiencies within the EMR and deficiency management system.

The role requires experience with EMR and healthcare revenue cycle processes, knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission standards, and a CRCR certification within 9 months of hire; compensation

Responsibilities

• Completes analysis/reanalysis of all records accurately and timely.
• Completes accounts from EMR Waiting for Documentation and Missing Document work queues.
• Follows up with ancillary/nursing departments for missing documentation.
• Manages deficiency management system and assigns deficiencies to providers.
• Documents workflows and any process changes implemented.
