Fairview is seeking a full-time (80 hours per pay period) Health Information Management (HIM) Coordinator based out of our Midway Corporate Office in St. Paul, MN. This remote position works from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Coordinator manages pillar operations to optimize, ensure quality, and maintain compliance of HIM activities through audits, workflow analysis, and document integrity checks. They collaborate with leadership to implement workflow improvements, develop data quality and productivity plans, and ensure adherence to HIPAA, Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulations. The role involves using quality control techniques, resolving workflow errors, and supporting staff education through presentations, dashboards, and scorecards.

The salary range for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE) is $76,211.20 to $107,598.40 annually. Actual pay depends on factors like skills, experience, education, and market conditions. We value pay equity and internal fairness. Offers are typically below the maximum of the range.
