Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a Health Information Management Records Specialist to support the online Legal Medical Record, oversee imaging workflows, and assist with record analysis and release of information. This role also touches transcription support and birth-certificate processing to ensure accurate, complete medical documentation.

The ideal candidate will have HIM/Medical Records experience, familiarity with document-imaging systems, and proficiency in word

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Experience with document-imaging systems.
• 1 year of HIM / Medical Records experience.
• Coursework or college-level training related to HIM or records management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the online Legal Medical Record.
• Assist with document-imaging processes and image capture.
• Analyze medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide transcription support.
• Assist with release of information processes.
• Birth-certificate processing as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: additional vocational training and/or college-level coursework.
• 1 year previous customer-service experience
• Experience with document-imaging systems.
• 1 year previous Experience in HIM / Medical Records
• Experience with word-processing and spreadsheet programs
