Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Health Information Assistant to support the Health Information Department by maintaining complete health records for all persons served and ensuring accuracy for regulatory compliance. You will interact professionally with staff, patients, and families and report to the Health Information Coordinator, collaborating with nursing and clinical directors.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• A minimum of one year of experience working in a health-related field
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of governing regulations

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and maintaining complete Health Records of all persons served.
• Ensure professional contact with staff and stakeholders, including persons served and families.
• Report to Health Information Coordinator and work with Director of Nursing and Program Directors.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

One year experience in health-related field

Knowledge of medical terminology
