Job summary

Okanogan County Child Development Association seeks a Health Data Entry Assistant to maintain accurate data from families and staff while also assisting teachers and providing classroom coverage.

You will help ensure smooth daily operations behind the scenes and in the classroom, supporting kindergarten readiness and child development in our community.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • 6 months experience with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • WA State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain data within designated databases using information gathered from parents, teachers, coordinators, and staff.
  • Review and verify records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with families and team members to obtain required documentation and information.
  • Provide classroom assistance as needed to support daily learning activities and routines.
  • Deliver reliable break and lunch coverage to ensure consistent supervision and smooth center operations.
  • Support a positive, organized, and nurturing environment that promotes school readiness and child development.
  • Collaborate with center staff to ensure compliance with program standards and operational procedures.

Health Data Entry Assistant

OCCDA has 60+ year legacy as an early learning program that strives to make a difference in our community by supporting children and families. About the position:

This dynamic role blends administrative precision with meaningful classroom support. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate data collected from families and staff while also stepping in to assist teachers and provide classroom coverage as needed. By ensuring smooth daily operations both behind the scenes and in the classroom, this role directly supports our mission of preparing children for Kindergarten and lifelong success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain data within designated databases using information gathered from parents, teachers, coordinators, and staff
  • Review and verify records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED

  • Valid WA State Driver’s License
Details:
  • Full-time 32hr per week
  • 41 Weeks per year
  • Wage $19.06 per hour for qualified applicant
  • Access to continuing education
