Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Science Consultant in Arlington, VA to design and implement health analytics dashboards using Tableau/Power BI, and to lead data cleaning with Python and R. You will support client services and business development while maintaining a DHS Public Trust.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and experience with health data analytics, information governance, HL7 standards, and Databricks, PowerApps, and UiPath.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST with adjudication prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Desire to work with health data analytics, information governance, information management or informatics.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment in Arlington, VA.
• Strong foundational knowledge in information systems in healthcare.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across varied assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HL7 framework and data standards.
• Active DHS Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions using Tableau or Power BI.
• Lead and review data cleaning scripts with Python and R.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools for decision-making.
• Focus on client services while supporting business development and internal initiatives.
• Assist with RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and white papers; contribute to professional development.
