Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be enrolled in college/university or a Master’s/PhD program for the duration of the internship.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical ability with the capacity to work independently and in a team.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and BCBSM systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing information and research materials to identify business problems and help management implement solutions.
• Support leaders on projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
• Develop and maintain understanding of BCBSM business, products, programs, data, and controls.
• Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs within the organization.
• Participate in networking events with leaders and other interns.
