Job summary

UHIN is seeking a Health Data Analyst to improve health data quality, perform advanced analysis, and design visualizations. The role sits at the intersection of clinical data, claims, and operations, delivering insights forValue-Based Care and executive decision-making.

You'll develop dashboards, validate data across sources, and collaborate with leaders to translate complex data into actionable recommendations in a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Epidemiology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience extracting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on complex healthcare data.
• Demonstrated experience working with both healthcare claims and clinical data distributions.

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction & Manipulation: Write advanced, optimized SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and manipulate massive health datasets.
• Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Validate data integrity and perform quality assurance and data cleaning across health records and claims systems.
• Dashboarding & Visualizations: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) to track KPIs.
• Clinical & Population Analytics: Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and support Value-Based Care initiatives.
• Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling: Develop statistical algorithms and support predictive risk-scoring models.
• Stakeholder Reporting & Translation: Interpret findings into actionable recommendations for clinicians and executives.
• Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Adhere to HIPAA, CMS regulations and data governance guidelines.
• Project Management & Collaboration: Plan and manage data-related projects and cross-functional meetings.
• Other duties as assigned
