Job summary

Alameda Alliance for Health seeks a Configuration Analyst to configure and maintain provider contracts, fee schedules and code sets in the HealthSUITE system. Under general supervision, you will support operational areas to ensure data precision and readiness for business needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1–3 years in health care/managed care, and beginner-level Excel. Strong communication, analytical and teamwork skills are essential in this hybrid California position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum one to three years working within health care/managed care environment, preferably in business operations or IT.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to function in a self-directed work team.
• Ability to extract and synthesize data and conduct analysis; effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with stellar customer service; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Configure benefits, provider contracts and fee schedules in the HealthSUITE claims adjudication system.
• Monitor updates of various code sets to ensure accurate and timely operations.
• Work with the business to analyze and document business needs and requirements.
• Analyze, design, test and develop system configuration needs with documentation, change management and status reports.
• Understand business/operational workflow objectives and how enterprise software supports them.
• Collaborate with departmental staff to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Review/audit system operations to ensure policy compliance and optimal configuration.
• Gather data for analysis to assist in system planning and upgrades.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
