Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Michigan in Ann Arbor seeks an Assistant Health Center Manager to support daily operations at the Power Family Health Center. Under the Health Center Manager, you will lead staff, ensure patient care standards, and coordinate training, scheduling, and supply management.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires a commitment to equity and hands-on supervision, with responsibilities in billing, documentation, and teamwork to maintain high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a health care setting and training others.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple functional areas to achieve objectives.
• Commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission, vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Provides effective one-on-one training for Medical Assistants using adult-learning techniques.
• Delivers standardized training for Medical Assistant role including front/back duties and patient education.
• Ensures adequate coverage of Medical Assistant roles during clinic operation.
• Supports on-site EHR system updates, training, workflow changes, and troubleshooting.
