Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field with 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, or 5+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the health center and coordinate clinical and administrative functions.
• Ensure staff competency in patient safety and adherence to OSHA, IDPH, and TJC standards.
• Monitor patient care, satisfaction, and outcomes; conduct regular rounds to improve service.
• Track key metrics and drive improvements in health center operations and accountability.
• Lead staff meetings and daily huddles to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Utilize EMR analytics to optimize workflows aligned with patient-centered care values.
• Develop business plans, financial strategies, and process improvements for long-term success.

The Health Center Manager oversees daily and strategic operations, ensuring the seamless coordination integration of clinical and administrative functions while maintaining high standards of patient care, efficiency, and compliance. In partnership with the Lead Provider, this role drives operational success, financial stability, and service excellence. Leading a diverse healthcare team, the manager fosters a culture of innovation, excellence, and compassionate care to meet community needs and exceed performance expectations.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Ensure team members understand their roles and deliver high quality, coordinated care.
• Maintains OSHA, IDPH, and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards while ensuring staff competency in patient safety.
• Identifies and addresses clinical risks, ensuring patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Oversee patient care, satisfaction, and outcomes, making regular rounds to enhance service.
• Track key metrics and performance indicators to improve health center operations and accountability.
• Leads staff meetings and daily huddles, ensuring smooth coordination and care delivery.
• Utilizes EMR analytics to improve workflows and aligns operations with patient-centered care values.
• Develop business plans, financial strategies, and process improvements to ensure long-term success.
• Investigate staff concerns and patient compliance issues, promoting fair and effective resolutions.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support health equity initiatives.

Requirements/Preferences

• Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field, plus 2-3 years of supervisory/team lead experience in a healthcare setting, or 5+ years of supervisory/team lead experience in healthcare.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Working Conditions/Equipment

• Requires local travel between clinical/health centers, hospitals, and community sites. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required when using a personal vehicle.
