Recruitment Range: $35,360 - $38,688

Central Regional Hospital
We are currently recruiting for Health Care Technician I's across multiple units/shifts that will function as Therapeutic Support Specialist I's at Central Regional Hospital. The primary purpose of the Health Care Technician I (HCT I) is to monitor patients and perform technical procedures (within scope). All HCT I duties are delegated by, and under the supervision of a Licensed Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
These are full-time positions and eligible for the full State benefits package. Multiple positions, units and shifts are available. Our shifts are 8 hours and include alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Work Schedule and Shift Premium:
Flexibility is required to meet hospital needs. These positions are designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events. Pay is commensurate with education and experience. These positions are eligible for shift and weekend premium as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
ADA physical requirements will be discussed during the interview including but not limited to lifting, kneeling, walking up and down stairs, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Condition for Continued Employment:
As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation. As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
