A national law firm is seeking a Health Care Regulatory Associate with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience to join its established health care practice. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney with a strong regulatory background who is interested in working on sophisticated health care compliance, advisory, and transactional matters.

The successful candidate will advise health care organizations on a variety of federal and state regulatory requirements, including fraud and abuse laws, licensing, reimbursement, and corporate practice of medicine considerations. The position will also involve evaluating regulatory issues in health care transactions, conducting due diligence, reviewing contractual arrangements, and identifying potential compliance risks.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong background in health care regulatory matters.
• Experience advising health care organizations on federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of health care fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law.
• Familiarity with state licensing requirements, corporate practice of medicine restrictions, or reimbursement regulations.
• Experience with regulatory due diligence or other regulatory aspects of health care transactions.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide practical guidance on complex regulatory issues and work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.
• Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
