State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Health Care Customer Service Representatives for remote work in the United States.

The role handles inbound and outbound calls about insurance, billing, and payments, with emphasis on accuracy and professional communication. The job requires at least 1 year in a call center or customer service role, knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare administration preferred, and ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service handling daily public contact.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance or administration preferred.
• Ability to follow client-specific protocols and policies in job duties.

Responsibilities

• Makes and answers calls in the client’s name to resolve billing and payment issues using established work queues and call pools.
• Responds to information requests from patients or account holders in a professional, thorough, and explainable manner.
• Follows client-specific protocols and policies when carrying out duties.
• Demonstrates scheduling flexibility, including evening and Saturday shifts as required.
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls.
• Cameras must remain on from training through scheduled shifts; after training, camera use per supervisor or team expectations.
• Remote bilingual conditions include a base pay of $18.00/hr with potential increases up to $2.00/hr in first 12 months; non-bilingual base $16.00/hr with same increase potential.

Health Care Customer Service Representatives

Health Care Customer Service Representative , you will be handling inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment, resolving general questions regarding insurance, financial assistance, and processing payments. Veterans and Military Spouses Encouraged to Apply**

• Makes and answers calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues utilizing establish work queues and call pools as necessary
• Responds to requests for information by patient/account holders in a professional, thorough, explainable manner
• Follows client-specific protocols and policies when carrying out duties
• 1+ years’ experience working in Call Center of Customer Service function where contact with the public was a part of daily duties
• Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred
• Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling and assignments, to include regular evening and Saturday work as the business requires
• Bilingual candidates will provide additional support for bilingual calls
• The minimum internet speed requirements for remote work are as follows:
• Cameras are required to remain on from the start of training through the end of each scheduled shift, excluding designated breaks and lunch periods. After training is completed, camera use will be required as directed by your supervisor or based on team expectations.
• Bilingual Remote: $18.00/hr AND the opportunity to earn quarterly performance increases up to an additional $2.00/hr in your first 12 months!
• Non Bilingual Remote: $16.00/hr AND the opportunity to earn quarterly performance increases up to an additional $2.00/hr in your first 12 months!
