Arc Initiatives in Washington, DC is seeking an Election Season Communications Intern to support health care advocacy campaigns during the November elections. You will assist media outreach for a national bus tour, coordinate with reporters, and track daily coverage for clients.

The role is a temporary, part-time hybrid position with 20–30 hours per week and an hourly rate of $20. End date is November 6, 2026, with on-site three days per week in DC.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student seeking experience in public affairs.
• Experience in advocacy or campaigns preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Become key staffer on one or more of Arc Initiatives' campaign teams.
• Call newsrooms to drive media attendance and coverage for events.
• Track coverage of events and issues for clients.
