Our client is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of experience in health care privacy and other areas of privacy law to join their Chambers-ranked Privacy & Cybersecurity practice. The role involves advising clients on product and service development, drafting and updating privacy policies, procedures, training, notifications, forms of consent, and providing general privacy counseling. The position is available in Silicon Valley, Santa Monica, and Washington D.C. offices. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HIPAA/Healthcare Privacy, consumer privacy, health information privacy, federal and state health care privacy laws, other federal privacy laws, comprehensive state privacy laws, international privacy laws, and general technology and data flows. Experience in drafting privacy policies, negotiating privacy-related contracts, providing product counseling, and conducting privacy compliance is essential.
