Talantir is seeking compassionate Health Care Aides to provide care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in home care, assisted living, or nursing facilities. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, and provide companionship in a supportive team.

This role offers flexible shifts, remote work options where applicable, and pay between 18.00 and 21.00 CAD per hour with an expected 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, or home care preferred.
• Knowledge of senior, dementia, hospice, and disability care advantageous.
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to patient well-being.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for mobility or transfers.
• Excellent communication and patience with diverse populations.
• Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends.
• Physical stamina for standing and assisting with mobility.

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring under supervision
• Support with meal preparation and feeding for individuals with specific dietary needs
• Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Assist with activities that promote independence and social engagement
• Document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings is preferred
• Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to patient well-being
