Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our caregiving team. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life. You will work under the supervision of a healthcare professional, following a personalized care plan to meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health status, reporting any concerns to the supervising healthcare professional.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities that promote mental well-being.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and keeping living areas clean and organized.
- Assist clients with mobility, ensuring safe transfers from beds to wheelchairs, and providing walking support as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and themselves.
- Administer basic health tasks, such as taking vital signs, under the guidance of a licensed healthcare provider.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes.
