Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Health & Benefits Consultant to join the Health team within the People & Investments business. The role is based in Boston with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days in the office each week.

You will perform in-depth analyses for large clients, collaborate with Mercer subject matter experts, and mentor junior team members to uphold quality and accuracy in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of health & benefits experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial, contract, and administrative analysis while managing portions of client projects and ad hoc requests.
• Support financial review and funding analysis, including underwriting, data analytics, and collaboration with actuaries.
• Interpret benchmark data, present insights, and ensure plan changes align with client objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Lead preparation, peer review, and delivery of clear client-facing communications and reports.
• Work with clients to manage RFP processes with health insurance carriers and internal analysts.
