Job summary

OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a Staff Research Assistant to support health behavior and cancer prevention studies. You will engage participants, screen eligibility, and help enroll participants in NIH-funded randomized trials.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of research experience. This role offers hands-on experience and potential publication opportunities within a dynamic research team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Psychology, Public Health, or related field with relevant research exposure.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting research or working in a lab setting.
• Familiarity with NIH-funded randomized trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for research participants and coordinate referrals.
• Screen applicants for eligibility and support enrollment in studies.
• Assist with data collection, management, and basic analyses.
• Contribute to reports and summaries for NIH-funded trials.
