Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Director of Health and Wellness to oversee resident care services in our community. You will coordinate nursing operations, translate the assisted living philosophy into practice, and ensure regulatory compliance while leading a team of nursing staff.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, an active LPN license, and at least two years of supervisory experience with elders or disabled individuals. English literacy is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN licensure.
• Minimum of two years' experience working with elders or disabled individuals and demonstrated supervisory/management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

The primary function of the Director of Health and Wellness is for the implementation, delivery and coordination of resident care services at the community. The Director of Health and Wellness is responsible for assisting the ongoing operations of the nursing department. He/she assists and supports the translation of the assisted living philosophy into nursing practice by participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivery system within the assisted living community.

• *Develop, maintain and monitor a service plan for each resident being attentive to each as an individual and in accordance with state assisted living regulations.
• *Monitor and maintain compliance with all state regulations.
• *Lead, guide and direct all nursing department employees.
• *Implement training programs and in-services for all employees in accordance with state assisted living regulations.

Qualifications
