About the Director of Nursing Position

Brookdale Senior Living is searching for a Health and Wellness Director candidate to begin their training and development and prepare to serve as the clinical leader in one of our Central Florida Communities.

The ideal candidate for this role will have an LPN or RN license and have some experience in leading others. This role will be a bench position, training to step into one of several Central Florida communities if and when the need arises.

As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will utilize your leadership qualities to inspire, lead, and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents. You will proactively build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers for the coordination of exceptional personalized care. You will consistently collaborate with community leadership, mentor and engage your associates, and build resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
2. Driver’s license.
3. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, and clinical leadership experience preferred.
4. Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

Participate in on-the-job training experiences for the Health and Wellness Director role, learn new skills about senior living, and be able to demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise with managerial and clinical responsibilities within the Brookdale organization. The Brookdale Bench Program will prepare you to assume the Health & Wellness Director role at one of our communities including, but not limited to areas of people management, clinical management, quality care, and regulatory oversight when you assume the role of a Health and Wellness Director.

Salary Range Information

$66,940 - $85,270 / year.
