Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
  2. Ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care is provided as their healthcare needs change.
  3. Maintaining consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; this may involve assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
  4. Supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training, and managing staff schedules.
  5. Overseeing medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration, conducting periodic medication skills inventory checks, and medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
  6. Sharing on-call duties as required.
  7. Maintaining education to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and possessing a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
  8. Holding an LPN or LVN license.
