Charter Senior Living in Murray, KY is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical operations, mentor staff, and partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure resident care excellence and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for an LPN/LVN or RN with leadership experience in assisted living or memory care.

You will oversee assessments, care plans, medication management, and day-to-day nursing operations while promoting a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN or RN license in good standing
• 1–2 years nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Assisted living, memory care, or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of resident care, medication management, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of daily clinical operations and resident care services
• Support resident assessments, care plans, and wellness monitoring
• Assist with medication management and clinical documentation processes
• Help supervise, mentor, and support caregiving and medication staff
• Monitor resident condition changes and communicate with physicians and families
• Support staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training efforts

• Assist with survey readiness and quality assurance initiatives

Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the overall clinical operations of the community to ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality, and individualized care.

This role partners closely with the Director of Nursing / Health & Wellness Director to oversee resident wellness, clinical compliance, medication management, staff support, and day-to-day nursing operations while helping maintain a positive and resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities
