Job summary

DP World is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment across our facilities.

You will lead audits, incident investigations, safety training, and policy development, partnering with operations leadership to reduce risk and drive continuous safety improvements.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in OH&S or related field and 2–5 years of experience, with strong OSHA knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of health and safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular facility inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver safety training, onboarding, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Monitor PPE compliance and ensure proper usage throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to drive continuous safety improvement initiatives.
• Track safety metrics and provide recommendations to reduce incidents and improve performance.
• Assist with workers’ compensation claims management and return-to-work programs.
