Position: Health & Safety Coordinator [RW-14257]

Location: Allentown, PA

An international, industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to oversee a large domestic operation in Allentown, PA. The successful candidate will foster a proactive health and safety culture, influencing and engaging stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement safety management systems and strategies.
  2. Support and guide site leadership on safety practices and protocols.
  3. Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety training sessions.
  4. Build relationships with employees and implement safety programs hands-on.
  5. Collaborate with partners to meet safety requirements.
Candidate Qualifications:
  1. At least 3 years of safety experience in industrial manufacturing, cement & aggregates, or heavy civil construction.
  2. Knowledge of MSHA regulations or a strong desire to learn.
  3. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field, or equivalent experience.
  4. Familiarity with safety programs such as Confined Space, LOTO, Working at Heights, Machine Guarding, and PPE.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
