Location: Hybrid role with regular travel and overnight stays across our sites in the UK.
Salary: £36,000 - £43,000

Get Out What You Put In
As a passionate and knowledgeable Health and Safety professional, you will play a key role in supporting the Witherslack Group to maintain safe, healthy, and compliant environments across all sites. Working within our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Team and the Quality Assurance department, you'll help embed a proactive safety culture by providing expert guidance, training, and support to staff at all levels. You will contribute to the development and implementation of SHE policies, procedures, and training frameworks, and help uphold our ISO 45001 accreditation.
In this role, you'll act as a ‘Competent Person’ for health and safety, carrying out site visits, audits, and investigations to identify and manage potential hazards. You'll collaborate with colleagues across departments and within settings to help ensure our teams are competent and confident in managing risks and our training and policies are effective and fit for purpose. From accident investigations to internal forums and audits to delivering SHE projects; your input will directly influence the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the organisation. Ongoing professional development and sharing of best practice will be central to your personal and professional growth within the Group.
