The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Health Aide 2 for the Admissions Unit at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

This role ensures patients are free of contraband, monitors activity, and prevents negative interactions to maintain a safe environment. A valid driver's license, background check, and at least one year of direct care or mental health experience are required.

Competenze

• High School diploma/GED and six (6) months of experience in a related field; one (1) year of experience required at the Health Aide 1 level or equivalent.
• One year of experience in mental health or medical or related field; one year of experience performing direct care activity/basic nursing procedures, and training/security for persons with physical, mental health, and/or substance abuse disabilities.
• Experience working with forensic patients or correctional offenders.
• Valid driver's license.
• Background check required as a condition of employment.
