Qualifications

• Founding‑team technical leadership experience.
• 5–8+ years building technology at early-stage companies.
• Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field.
• Strong fluency in modern AI/LLMs and practical deployment knowledge.
• Commercial and product judgment to select high-potential problems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities with Cedars‑Sinai clinicians and researchers to surface high‑conviction problems.
• Translate clinical pain into original, technically grounded venture theses and test them.
• Lead technical due diligence on concepts, tools, data, and vendors; build proofs of concept.
• Support founders with architecture, data strategy, AI/ML approach, and hiring decisions.
• Scale judgment via AI-enabled systems and workflows to accelerate diligence and execution.
• Help build LA’s healthcare founder community and connect with local universities.
