Job summary

The University of Colorado Denver Business School seeks a pool of Lecturers in Health Administration to support MBA Health Administration, Executive MBA Health Administration, and Executive DHA programs. Positions are part-time (less than 50% FTE) and filled semester-by-semester as teaching needs arise.

This pool is anticipated to remain active through January 2027; applications may be submitted for future pools after that date.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in a field closely related to the course topic; degrees in other areas may be considered with recent managerial experience in health care.
• A doctorate is required for the Executive DHA instructor positions.
• Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in health care management (at least five years).
• Degrees in other areas may be considered with recent significant managerial experience in health care management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored instruction to undergraduate or graduate students, aligning with curricular objectives.
• Prepare each class in advance with balanced, rigorous lesson plans and assess progress against outcomes.
• Adhere to program policies by reporting student offenses (plagiarism, cheating, absences, etc.).
