Health Law Advocates (HLA) seeks a Policy and Outreach Fellow for an eight-month, full-time role dedicated to assisting Family Resource Centers across Massachusetts. You will navigate new federal laws, coordinate with the ACC team, and work with MHAP for Kids to improve access to health programs.

Responsibilities include project management, trainings, materials development, data collection, and referrals to partner organizations.

Qualificações

• Master’s in Public Health, Public Policy, or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complicated health concepts clearly.
• Experience with public speaking, trainings, and facilitating meetings.
• Willingness to travel to Family Resources Centers statewide.

Responsabilidades

• Project management, community engagement, training, and materials development for the FRCs (80%).
• Build relationships with local FRCs and identify health care access barriers.
• Develop trainings and workshops for staff and clients on public program changes.
• Create accessible resources explaining changes in health coverage programs.
• Support clinics and referrals for clients and coordinate with ACC and MHAP for Kids.
• Lead data collection and reporting on project outcomes.
