Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary hospital environment and ensure safety compliance. You will use equipment like vacuums, mops, and floor polishers, support a healing atmosphere, and collaborate with teams to uphold quality standards.

The role emphasizes independence, attention to detail, and adherence to hazardous materials procedures as part of daily duties in our inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across hospital areas according to quality standards and regulations.
• Utilize equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor polishers and other cleaning tools.
• Handle general office equipment and keep a tidy work environment.
