Job summary

KIPP Massachusetts Public Charter Schools seeks a dedicated Special Education Lead Teacher for a substantively separate program at KIPP Academy Boston Charter School. You will instruct a small group of students across core subjects, manage IEP paperwork, and collaborate with families to support student progress and independence.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in Special Education, a Bachelor's degree, and a commitment to healing-centered, data-driven

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience (Special Education preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Special Education licensure preferred.
• Criminal background check clearance.
• Proficient with Google Suite and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction for 1–4 content areas aligned to IEP goals.
• Develop daily lesson plans and assessments aligned to IEPs.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.
• Lead the 504 and IEP processes and coordinate with related service providers.
• Uphold KIPP MA Code of Conduct and professional responsibilities.
