Position Overview

We are seeking a board-certified or board eligible neurologist with fellowship training in headache medicine or certification as a headache specialist to join our growing neurology division as a Headache Specialist at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The physician will provide headache medicine care in an outpatient setting, including concussion management and procedures such as botulinum toxin injections and nerve blocks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive headache medicine care to patients in an outpatient practice.
• Manage concussion cases and provide appropriate treatment interventions.
• Perform procedures such as botulinum toxin injections and nerve block procedures.
• Participate in ongoing clinical research, teaching, and academic affiliation with Western Michigan University School of Medicine as desired.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in headache medicine or equivalent certification.
• Strong clinical skills in outpatient headache management and procedural interventions.
• Ability to work a weekend call schedule of 1:12 and be available for on-site practice.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team.
