MaineHealth Neurology seeks a full-time, board-certified/eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or strong interest in Headache to become the Headache Program Director. The role combines patient care with oversight and teaching of residents and APPs in managing refractory headaches at our Scarborough Campus.

The position emphasizes leadership of the Headache program, opportunities for research, and a dedicated academic pathway for scholarly work within MaineHealth.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible neurologist with fellowship training or special interest in headache.
• Strong interest in teaching residents and APPs in evaluation and management of refractory headaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of outpatient Neurology practice.
• Lead and direct the Headache Program, including oversight of residents and APPs.
• Teach and mentor trainees in evaluation and management of refractory headaches.
