Job summary

MaineHealth Neurology in Portland, ME seeks a full-time board certified/eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or strong interest in Headache to become Headache Program Director. The position emphasizes both patient care and the oversight and teaching of neurology residents and APPs in refractory headache management.

This primarily outpatient role is based at the MaineHealth Scarborough Campus with on-site MRI and neurodiagnostic lab.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology is required or soon-to-be-certified.
• Fellowship training in Headache or strong subspecialty interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of the Neurology Department.
• Oversee and teach neurology residents and APPs in headache management.
• Lead the Headache Program Director duties and education activities.
