Job summary

Maine Health is seeking a full-time board-certified or -eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or strong interest in Headache to serve as Headache Program Director. The role combines clinical care with oversight and teaching of residents and APPs, with a focus on outpatient evaluation and management of refractory headaches.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or strong interest in Headache.
• Experience teaching Neurology residents and APPs is desirable.
• Outpatient-focused with responsibilities in patient care and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as Neurologist with Headache specialization.
• Oversee and teach Neurology residents and APPs in evaluation and management of refractory headaches.
• Lead and participate in Headache Program activities and academic pathway initiatives.
• Support opportunities for research through MaineHealth Institute for Research.
